Laia Montserrat is a disciple of the legendary violinist Viktor Tretyakov. She made her Carnegie Hall in New York debut at the age of 14.

In 2017 she was the cover image in the magazine "This is London" for its New Year edition. She is currently recording a CD of the Concerto for violin in D minor, op. 47 of Jean Sibelius with the London Symphony Orchestra; it is in the production phase, while the second part is still pending.

She has won first prizes in national and international competitions in the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Paris, Luxembourg, Romania and the United States (New York) such as the European Competition in Luxembourg, where she won the Special Prize. She has also performed numerous concerts in the aforementioned countries and others such as: France, Germany, Montenegro, Austria, Croatia and Luxembourg.
